Welcome to Batur Adventure Tour. By booking any tour, activity, transportation service, or travel package through our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Booking Confirmation
All bookings are subject to availability.
A booking is considered confirmed only after:
- Payment has been successfully received; or
- An official booking confirmation has been issued by Batur Adventure Tour.
We reserve the right to reject or cancel any booking due to operational, safety, or unforeseen circumstances.
2. Pricing and Payments
- All prices are listed in the currency displayed on the website.
- Prices may change without prior notice.
- Customers are responsible for any bank charges, transfer fees, currency conversion fees, or payment gateway charges.
- Incorrect payment information that causes booking failure is the responsibility of the customer.
3. Cancellation Policy
More Than 48 Hours Before Tour
Customers may cancel and receive a full refund.
24–48 Hours Before Tour
Up to 50% cancellation fee may apply.
Less Than 24 Hours Before Tour
No refund will be provided.
No Show
No refunds will be issued if the customer:
- Does not appear at the pickup location.
- Cannot be contacted during pickup time.
- Misses the tour due to personal reasons.
- Arrives too late and causes operational disruption.
4. Tour Rescheduling
One free reschedule may be granted if requested at least 24 hours before the tour date.
Rescheduling requests made less than 24 hours before departure are subject to availability and may incur additional charges.
5. Weather Conditions and Sunrise Visibility
Mount Batur tours operate in natural outdoor environments.
Batur Adventure Tour cannot guarantee:
- Sunrise visibility
- Clear weather
- Clear mountain views
- Cloud-free conditions
- Customer satisfaction regarding natural conditions
Refunds will not be issued due to:
- Rain
- Fog
- Clouds
- Weather changes
- Limited visibility
If local authorities close Mount Batur due to safety concerns, volcanic activity, or extreme weather, we may offer:
- Tour rescheduling; or
- Partial or full refund at our discretion.
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers are responsible for:
- Reading tour descriptions before booking.
- Providing accurate contact information.
- Arriving on time.
- Following instructions from guides and drivers.
- Wearing suitable clothing and footwear.
Customers who refuse safety instructions may be removed from the tour without refund.
7. Physical Condition Requirement
Some activities offered by Batur Adventure Tour involve:
- Trekking
- Hiking
- Jeep adventures
- ATV rides
- Rafting
- Outdoor physical activities
Customers are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to participate.
We do not recommend participation for:
- Pregnant travelers
- Individuals with serious heart conditions
- Customers with severe mobility limitations
- Customers with medical conditions that may be aggravated by physical activity
Participation is entirely at the customer’s own risk.
8. Liability Disclaimer
By joining any tour, customers acknowledge that adventure activities involve inherent risks.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Batur Adventure Tour shall not be responsible for:
- Personal injuries
- Accidents
- Illness
- Property loss
- Damaged belongings
- Traffic delays
- Weather disruptions
- Natural events
- Third-party service failures
Customers participate voluntarily and assume all associated risks.
9. Personal Belongings
Customers are fully responsible for their own belongings.
Batur Adventure Tour is not liable for:
- Lost items
- Stolen items
- Damaged personal property
during transportation or activities.
10. Third-Party Activities
Some packages may include services provided by third-party operators, including:
- ATV operators
- Rafting companies
- Hot spring facilities
- Transportation providers
- Other activity operators
Batur Adventure Tour acts as a booking coordinator and is not responsible for service interruptions, accidents, operational issues, or losses caused by third-party providers.
11. Force Majeure
Batur Adventure Tour shall not be liable for cancellation, delay, or modification caused by events beyond reasonable control, including:
- Volcanic activity
- Earthquakes
- Floods
- Landslides
- Extreme weather
- Government restrictions
- Pandemics
- Civil disturbances
- Transportation disruptions
Refunds and rescheduling options in such situations remain at the discretion of Batur Adventure Tour.
12. Fraudulent Chargebacks
Customers agree to contact Batur Adventure Tour directly before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute.
In the event of a chargeback, we reserve the right to submit evidence including:
- Booking records
- Invoices
- WhatsApp conversations
- Driver reports
- Pickup logs
- GPS records
- Tour attendance documentation
to banks, payment processors, and dispute resolution services.
False claims or fraudulent refund requests may be challenged using all available evidence.
13. Complaints and Claims
Any complaint regarding services must be submitted within 24 hours after completion of the tour.
Complaints submitted after this period may not be eligible for review, compensation, or refund consideration.
14. Photos and Marketing
Photos and videos taken during tours may be used for:
- Website content
- Social media
- Promotional materials
- Advertising campaigns
Customers who do not wish to appear in promotional content must inform the guide before the activity begins.
15. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Indonesia.
Any dispute shall first be resolved through good-faith negotiation before legal proceedings are considered.
